Antler Handle Bowie Knife with Leather Sheath

Description The handle is made of naturally aged deer antler, maple burl wood, hand cast bronze fittings, and a matching hand cast and machined bronze pin. The accompanying sheath is made of full grain leather with a sewn-in belt loop and a leather retaining strap to retain the knife.  Half functional, half art, wholly badass. This Bowie knife is a one of-a-kind piece of functional art.  Although beautiful enough to simply admire, this blade packs a serious punch with its 3/16 inch thick, 10 inch long stainless steel blade.  The blade gets its blackened color from the heat treating process, when the blade is quenched a thin layer of oil bakes on to the steel. This serves to give added protection and produces a distinct and unique look.
