Le Blanc d’Aiguilhe 2021 is a striking example of modern white Bordeaux, produced by Château d’Aiguilhe from limestone rich vineyards in Castillon. The 2021 vintage was particularly successful... for dry white Bordeaux, producing wines with freshness, precision and remarkable balance. Made predominantly from Sauvignon Blanc with a small proportion of Sauvignon Gris, the wine combines the texture and generosity associated with fine white Bordeaux alongside a strong mineral backbone. The limestone terroir gives the wine its tension and saline character, while careful winemaking preserves aromatic purity and freshness. Tasting notes Le Blanc d’Aiguilhe 2021 shows aromas of citrus, grapefruit and white peach, layered with notes of flint, crushed stone and subtle floral hints.
